Writing practice

I write about power, intimacy, class, technology, and the roles people perform to feel stable. Dark comedy is often a way into those questions.

Screenwriting sits alongside my directing and producing work. I am interested in what a character believes is reasonable, what they need from another person, and what happens when the rules holding a scene together stop working.
